Eveline and Marc held their wedding in Spa, in Belgium. They hired a beautiful castle in the hills, Chateau Balmoral. Eveline really tried to organize it all perfectly: she arranged everything herself and in the end two trucks full of tables, chairs, glasses, food, styling and even a dance floor went from the Netherlands down south to Belgium, together with a caterer, dj, videographer and me as their photographer. And it was worth it!
Getting ready in a castle is just wonderful. Having a first look coming down these old stairs is fantastic as well, especially when your parents are all crying. I loved their intimate yet beautiful ceremony in the cathedral of Spa. I was amazed by their dinner tables, set for 130 people within only a few hours! I was in tears because of all the warm and emotional speeches. And when Eveline started their first dance with a very naughty look at Marc to come join her I was thrilled: the light, the people, the surroundings, the love between these two, so so great!
In the mean time I’ve photographed another two weddings of friends of Eveline and Marc and every time it was a very special and emotional day. Can’t wait for the next of these sweet girls: Balmoral again may be?
